What is artificial radiofrequency (RF) radiation?

RF radiation is naturally part of the whole electromagnetic spectrum of energy in our universe. We have introduced enormous amounts of artificial RF into our environments, at levels far beyond naturally occurring RF radiation, which as biological organisms, we did not evolve in and are not adapted to deal with. RF  radiation causes genetic and other biological damage.

Like AM and FM radio:

  • there is a peak strength of RF radiation that has both an electric and magnetic component;
  • there is a frequency of the RF radiation: how many cycles/pulses per second measured in Hertz (Hz), the peak strength occurs. With RF, this is millions and billions of times every second. The frequency of the radiation is also a major factor in the total energy we absorb: the higher the frequency, the more times every second the same peak strength of energy impacts our cells.

The frequency of the RF radiation can also act like ‘information’ as a signal. This informational content of the radiation can abnormally signal to, or ‘jam’ normal/healthy biological processed and signalling, including in and around our genes. The natural, continuous signalling between and inside the trillions of cells in our bodies is what keeps us alive and healthy; and normally, repairs cellular and genetic damage that happens as ‘wear and tear’ of living. RF can interrupt normal genetic repair.

Damaging Effects

RF, also called “microwave” radiation, affects and can severely damage biological tissue, in animals and plants, in many ways that have been internationally, massively and extensively scientifically shown, and published and peer-reviewed over many years in many 1000s of scientific papers. These effects include damage to genetic and other biological processes, including neural and hormonal.

RF public exposure standards problems

The current problem is that the Australian Standard for safe public exposure limits of RF radiation, and in many other countries, is not based on this scientific data at all!

Instead, the safety RF Standard is based on a far, far higher thermal (tissue heating) threshold of effect. This means that the many scientifically shown very harmful effects of RF radiation that occur far, far below the thermal threshold of effects are not included in the Australian RF exposure safety Standard. Many people believe and have documented that this situation exists because of industry and military influence on the RF Standard-makers.
